At the heart of Christina’s life and artistry is her deep Christian faith and her love for family. Her belief that every brushstroke carries purpose—and that creativity is a gift to be stewarded with intention—permeates both her personal and professional life. Christina speaks to young women about maintaining faith through challenges and the importance of using one’s God-given talents boldly and unapologetically. She also creates Bible study materials, weaving together stories of artists throughout history who stood firm in their convictions even in the face of adversity.

Family is the thread that runs through Christina’s most personal work. Perhaps none more powerfully than her tribute painting honoring her grandfather—a lifelong member of the Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club—whose last year riding with the organization, as Sheriff, left an indelible mark on her young heart. That painting, created from memory and love, captures the light, the beads, the scepter, and the joy of Mardi Gras morning through the eyes of a little girl who would stay up waiting for her grandfather to come home from “Zulu land.” It is more than art. It is legacy.

Christina is a true daughter of New Orleans, shaped by the city’s rich culture of creativity, community, and celebration. Her grandfather’s decades-long involvement with the Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club gave her a front-row seat to the soul of Mardi Gras from childhood—an experience that continues to inspire her work as the official poster artist for multiple Mardi Gras krewes, a role she has held for six consecutive years.

• Mount Carmel Academy, New Orleans — A prestigious all-Catholic, all-girls school steeped in tradition and academic rigor. Christina graduated with distinction, earning a scholarship, maintaining Dean’s List honors, and excelling across multiple disciplines. During her time at Mount Carmel, she was a proud member of the Cheer/Track program and was inducted into the National Art Honor Society, recognizing her exceptional artistic talent and commitment to the arts.

• University of New Orleans — Christina continued her academic excellence at UNO on scholarship, further developing the technical skills and artistic vision that would define her professional career.
